About Neck Lift

As you age, loose skin can collect in the neck area, resulting in a saggy, fleshy appearance that can make you feel self–conscious. But with necklifts, the "turkey" look can be gone for good.

When you come in for a consultation, we'll review your options to rejuvenate your neck area, including:

• Facial liposuction
• Chin implant
• Facelift

During the procedure, which is also known as cervicoplasty, we'll remove any of the excess skin and fat in your neck area, and then manipulate or remove non–vital neck muscles in order to maintain your neck's new appearance.

About Leonard Tachmes, M.D.,P.A

Dr. Leonard Tachmes was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Miami Beach.  A graduate of Miami Beach Senior High School, he received his BS degree from Duke University, and his MD degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. 

He completed a fellowship in Plastic Surgery of the Breast and Reconstructive Microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan;  A residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals; a residency in General Surgery at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and an internship in surgery at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Dr. Tachmes is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.  He is author/co-author of fourteen scientific research papers published in various journals of medicine and surgery.  He is in his fourteenth year of private practice in Miami.
